Kejda Llana, Ph.D.
I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Public Health and Health Sciences within the Bouvé College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University. I recently completed my Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration at the University of Delaware, where my research focused on consumer finance, housing policy, health economics, and the economics of education. My work in applied microeconomics combines causal inference, large administrative and public datasets, and spatial analysis to study how policies and institutions shape economic, health, and educational outcomes.

My broader research agenda examines policy-relevant questions at the intersection of household financial well-being, housing, health, and education. My research includes studying the effects of affordable housing on student outcomes, hospital market structure and medical debt collections, Medicaid coverage and access to GLP-1 medications, and food hardship. During my doctoral training, I also served as a Research Intern with the Consumer Finance Institute at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia and was selected as an APPAM Equity and Inclusion Student Fellow. I have presented my research at national conferences including the Association for Public Policy Analysis & Management (APPAM) and the Southern Economic Association (SEA).
